JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION

Title II of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Program (JJDP) is a federal formula grant program implemented by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended through 1992.  The purpose of the Act is to provide a comprehensive, coordinated approach to the problems of juvenile delinquency, to improve the Juvenile Justice System in the state and to comply with core requirements of the Act.  The program serves juveniles either at risk or already in the system and agencies that provide services to them. Please click on  available funds to check the status of JJDP and all other funds available through the district.
